Will the built-in video card work for gaming?

is the chipset family the video card? it says mine is intel 82945G chipset family. under that it says memory size: 224 Mb|||Some motherboards with a Nvidia or ATI video chipset are fine for playing older & games that are not graphicly intensive but for the most part you need to get a dedicated video card for playing modern games. Just having a decent video card does not meen your PC is a Gaming PC.

It takes a fast(3.0GHz or faster dual core) CPU, A minimum of 4GB GDDR2(XP) or 6GB GDDR3(VISTA) RAM, Fast(10,00 RPM hard drive) & then a top of the line modern video card with 1gb onboard RAM & a fast high speed cable(Comcast) internet provider if gaming online.

Always make sure your PC meets the RECOMENDED system requirements for the game or the game may run slow & lag a bit.|||it will play small 3d games and medium 2d games on low details.
