Video cards for a Compaq computer that can handle The Sims 3?

My computer is a Compaq, and I run windows XP. I bought a Radeon 4530 HD for 60 dollars, to find out that it doesn't fit Compaqs. I'm specifically looking for a video card that will run with my computer and have good graphics for the Sims 3. Help? Here are the requirements for the game,

FOR WINDOWS XP

* Windows XP (Service Pack 2)

* 2.0 GHz P4 processor or equivalent

* 1 GB RAM

* At least 6.5 GB of hard drive space with at least 1 GB additional space for custom content

* 128 MB Video Card with support for Pixel Shader 2.0|||How about post your computer hardware specs instead of the game's|||Is your computer a regular desktop box or a skinny slimline model? We really need to know which model of Compaq Presario you've got, because there are dozens of them with different specs. Usually the complete model name/number is printed on the outside of the case.

In general, Compaqs take the same video cards as other computers. But all slimlines (regardless of manufacturer) can only use half-height video cards, standard sized cards are too tall to fit inside the case. It's also possible that you've got an older desktop with a different type of slot for video cards. Modern computers use PCI-Express cards, but older models may require an AGP or PCI video card.

We definitely need more information about your computer... look for the model number (usually on the front of the case) or try running SIW, which will tell you the computer's specific motherboard model, and possibly the video interface type.
