What video card should I get? Gaming?

I have a AMD Phenom II X6 1100T @3.3Ghz, and now I'm upgrading my computer part by part.

Next up is a new video card, as of right now it's a bottleneck(a Radeon HD 5770).

What would balance well with a 1100T? I also want to max out just about any game with no problems, for under $300.

1100T specs here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…

Also, I have no care in the world if it's either Nvidia or ATI/AMD, I'm just asking for the best bang for the buck.

Also, my case (NZXT M59) can only support video cards up to 11.5 inches.|||ATi Radeon HD 6950 and unlock the shader core on it, this card is compatible with the unlock, and is very good.

You may want to contact support about the dimensions of the card.|||Except for the 6970/6990 or the GTX590 any other card would fit in under 11.5" space. you can look in newegg.com at video cards under "details" and see this card...http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…

Shows its 10.5" long by 4.38" wide. According to this the GTX 580 is the top of the bench mark scale!...http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_e…|||AMD - Any model from 5870 and above or 6950 and above.

Nvidia - GTX 470 or 480 and GTX 570 and above.
