Two video cards on Alienware M14X problems.?

I just bought an Alienware M14X. When I go into device manager under display adapters it says Intel HD Graphics Family and Nividia Geforce GT 555M. The problem is that the games I installed don't seem to notice the second video card and then say minimum requirments not met when the video card runs at 3 GBs processer runs at 8 GHz and has 8 GBs of Memory.|||Your laptop has a switchable graphics technology called NVIDIA Optimus. Your laptop switches video cards in real time, depending on the GPU demand. The Intel graphics chip is used to save power (to increase battery life) when graphics power is not needed, and the GT 555M is used when your laptop demands GPU power.

Also, ignore the minimum requirements because the game might not be able to detect the switchable graphics.

EDIT: I've googled your issue, apparently the problem lies in the driver itself. You might want to try updating your drivers and try "whitelisting" the game.
