I'm going to build a gaming computer and need help with what Video Card to get.?

I'm running on a budget I want to get a AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor. I saw someone say that a ASUS ENGTX560 TI DCII TOP/2DI/1GD5 GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card will not work well. So could you give me a link on newegg to a good Video Card that will run on AMD. I'm trying to build a good gaming computer for games like Crysis 2 and Battlefield 3.|||I agree.... the Phenom II X6 1090T is a nice processor, but overall has weaker gaming performance than the Phenom II X4 970.

And unfortunately for AMD, nothing they have currently can compare with Intel's new Sandy Bridge processors. Even the $120 Core i3 2100 manages to edge both the aforementioned AMD processors, while the Core i5 2500K leaves them in the dust.

As for the person who told you a GTX 560Ti wouldn't work well, they were incorrect. That's a common misconception (that Nvidia cards somehow have problems with AMD CPUs - they don't). What is true - if you've got a Crossfire motherboard then going with an Nvidia card defeats the purpose, since you can't upgrade with a 2nd card later. Same thing for putting an AMD card in an SLI motherboard. But for any single-card configuration, whether you have an AMD or Nvidia card doesn't matter, just the raw performance.

The closest equivalent to the GTX 560Ti is the Radeon HD 6950.

http://www.techspot.com/review/359-nvidi…|||well its true going with a 4 core cpu will save you some cash, but the 1090t is defiantlly a better cpu. But if that system you have is within your budget, and theres really no better videocard to upgrade to that isnt stupid expensive, may as well stick with the 6core

XFX Radeon HD 6950 of a gtx 560 are both pretty close, id go with a 6950, but either card will work fine.|||6 cores not necessary....i suggest u to bu AMD Phenom ii X4 Black Edition 3.4ghz...

going for gaming than why compromise get 1 GB graphic card....minimum 8gb ram

get atleast minimum 600W PSU.etc etc.
