I'm getting a laptop with a video card that is:
graphics media accelerator x3100
Will it work with the Sims 2? There is a NVIDIA one, but it's $100 more. Will the graphics media accelerator x3100 be okay with my Sims 2 games?|||the X3100 is a bottom-feeder video card. It will run the Sims 2, but very slowly. I have a GMA 950, which is higher up, and I was still disappointed with the performance. If the NVIDIA is the 8400GS or 8600GT, which are mid-range and high-level cards respectively, i'd highly recommend that over the X3100.|||that should work fine.
