Triplehead2go or 2 video cards?

Im looking to get three displays on my computer. i found a neat little product called triplehead2go which ultimately takes three monitors and makes them one long one so your video card sees one very long monitor. so when you play a video game you get an increased field of vision. Is it possible to get the same results of increasing your field of vision with 2 video cards? also triplehead2go supports over 150 games. so can i still have that same support? or should i just get the triplehead2go?|||triplehead2go is a neat product for laptops mostly. it's also useful for desktops in special cases, but be aware of its limitations (the resolution each monitor can have is constrained; the version with digital input and outputs which provides the best picture quality is quite expensive; far from all games work with triplehead2go).

you ask if it's possible to get the same results with 2 video cards. the answer is: if your computer can fit (i.e., it has enough PCI-E slots) two video cards, go for that solution by all means. 2 video cards are cheaper than triplehead2go, are compatible with more games, and are able to drive monitors with larger resolutions.
