What good gaming video card should I buy?

Just so we're clear, im no professional when it comes to computers, but my video card is busted and I need to buy a new one. Anyone know of a good video card that can play something like call of duty modern warfare 2? (just bought it yesterday, and my video card broke before I can even play ><;;)

The cheaper the better :D|||radeon hd 5770 ($165), should be able to run most games at medium to high settings, power efficient, doesn't overheat as easily as other cards, reasonably priced, has directx11 support, etc.

if you're looking for something more powerful, radeon hd 5870 ($410), should be able to run most games at max settings, power efficient, directx11 support, the price may be a bit high, so you may want to wait a few months.

That's twice as fast as the next-best card, which is the Radeon 4650 for about $55

The slower GeForce 9500GT costs about the same, making it a bad deal. However if your budget goes up to $80 and your power supply is at least 400W, the GeForce 9600GT is an excellent choice.
