Better gaming video card?

I can customize these 2 laptop systems for around the same price (slightly under $1,400), and i don't know which would be a better video card. The rest of the system would be:



Intel i5-460M 2.66-3.2 Ghz processor

8 GB 1333 mhz RAM



The 2 video cards I have to choose from are:



1. ATI HD5870 1 Ghz video card (customized Sager NP8690)



2. nVidia GeForce 460M 1.5 Ghz video card (customized MSI GX660)



You would assume the 1.5Ghz would be better, but people are so high on the ATI video cards over the nVidia ones. Thanks.|||Here is the specification page for the ATi Mobility Radeon HD 5870:
